And Support Them
I really enjoyed my day with this wonderful breed where the temperaments were 100% friendly or well behaved showing the correct aloofness as befitting a working dog. Type was not as even as I expected but I had many lovely quality dogs to judge. Movement was generally quite good but many lacked the power one would expect from a strong working breed. I did find a few very narrow underjaws with canines pushing in to the upper gums which is unacceptable in a breed that requires a strong underjaw. Not one light eye! What was easiest for me was to ignore the long tails as in Sweden we have had the docking ban since 1989 & I find there are many breeds with long tails that are less pleasing to the eye than Rottweilers! I had an interesting & memorable day.
VD (3,1a) Two excellent & lovely veterans. 1 Lee & Holmes’ Gardaw Kimi Rakkonen avec Leebee, most lovely dog with great substance, very strong body & forechest, well shaped head with good expression, strong broad hindquarters, well muscled in loin & hindquarters, strong & sound mover & in lovely condition; 2 Lamberts Ch/Ir Ch Fernwood Eclipse over Seittor, elegant with good muzzle.
