And Support Them
I was extremely disappointed when my judging was interrupted with an announcement requesting an exhibitor to return to their car, their dog was in distress due to the heat in the car, this is totally unacceptable you have no excuse.
I would like to say remember you’re showing your dogs & care should also be taken to clean your dogs teeth. Some of the teeth were not clean. Some dogs also lost out on fitness, they may look nice on the stand & visually move around the ring cleanly. We have a working dog, they need muscle to do work, I found that lacking in some of them & you paid the price. My winners had that first & foremost in each class, my OB class was the hardest of the day, a lot of lovely girls who could change places any day. All the dog’s temperaments were good & a pleasure to go over.
MPD (8,1a) 1 Lambert’s Cairnpapples Break through Seittor, 8 months, head proportions good with just the right development at this age, expressive eyes medium/dark, ears as required pendant close fitting, good reach in neck, very clean in topline & underline for his age, clean tan markings as expected, moved true & reached out in front with the correct rear action to match, quite the smart showman; 2 Johnstone’s Cairnpapple’s Mercury, litter brother to 1, different in type, is a little more developed at this stage in head with medium/dark eyes, slight wrinkle when attentive to handler, richer tan than brother, neck slightly shorter but firm for age, nice spring in rib, moved straight in front & moved away cleanly. I feel at this stage his brother has grown in leg more although this young man has that lovely bone we are missing; 3 Cubitt’s Chapmeek Johnny Walker.
